This time Leef Smith, our friend and the owner of our favorite comic book shop in SF Mission: Comics and Art, wanted us to mashup The Avengers and Shitty Kitty. Here’s what we made:
This was fun for many reasons, mainly because we got to pair comic books with all these action heroes. I’m still cracking up/thinking about how immensely tragic it would be for Captian America to be unfrozen in modern times from his last WWII mission in the Arctic and to come across Art Spiegelman’s Maus. Sure, he was fighting against Hitler, but how much did he know? How much could he have done as just one man?
